The Theory

Existing neutralizers are one-dimensional in their functionality. The general idea behind them is to use oxidization to re-fix the cysteine bonds broken during the initial application of the de-oxidant, be it THIO glycolic acid or cysteine.

The key to the second step of is new product introducing a neutralizing concept related to acid and alkaline. When hair is normally re-oxidized after de-oxidization through the neutralization process, fixation may be achieved, but the acid/alkaline balance is not in other words, the hair cannot come close to achieving the ideal neutral state where PD=7.

In contrast, is a produce designed on the principles of acid/alkaline neutralization and , in a departure from existing methods, restores the hair to acidic balance after application of the straightening agent at the same time that neutralization is achieved.

After the second stage application has finished neutralizing the straightened hair(ex. when the color of the neutralizer has turned white). heat treatment will serve as an accelerant to facilitate the restoration of the P.H. balance.
